Blaise Boyer, a junior at South Anchorage High in Alaska, won the Division 4 boys varsity green race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Boyer covered the 2.93-mile course in 16:21, leading five South Anchorage scorers in the top 30 to prevail with 71 points. Boyer finished fourth overall in the Alaska Division 1 state championship race, guiding South Anchorage to a second-place performance by a 43-69 margin against Colony, which swept the top three spots in the final.
